RapidSOS Digital Alerts Use Cases

ECC (via CAD/PS software integration)

• The ECC subscribes to receive all alert events using the WebSocket Events.
• The ECC will receive new alerts verified by upstream monitoring partners, incident status updates, and log messages in real-time.
• The ECC also receives notifications of all events initiated by actions taken within the RapidSOS Portal (RSP) in order to keep data within the their CAD or public safety software in sync with RSP.

Central Station (via automation software integration)

• The Central Station subscribes to receive all alert events using the Webhook Events.
• When new alerts are created by the upstream service provider, the Central Station automation software creates a new incident.
• Through the Webhook connection, the automation software receives notifications of changes to all alerts, including status updates & chat messages, in real time.
• The automation software also receives notifications of all changes to alerts initiated by actions taken within the RapidSOS Central Station Portal (CSP) in order to keep data within the integrated automation software in sync with CSP.

Service Provider (customer facing company)

• The service provider subscribes to receive all alert events using the Webhook Events API.
• Once subscribed, they will receive real-time updates on alerts generated by their customer base, including new alerts created, incident status updates, and log messages.
• This information can be utilized for real-time reporting or used to trigger consumer-friendly incident status updates to the end user.
